- Read John 8:58. Compare it with Exodus 3:14. What does it mean that Jesus called himself the “I AM”?
- Jesus regularly called himself the SON OF MAN. (29 times in Matthew alone!) Read Daniel 7:13-14. What is the significance of this title?
- Consider the statement: ” There is a reality that Jesus forces upon us: the need to rethink our understanding of “God” in light of Jesus. ” If this is true, consider some of the stories you know about Jesus- how does this communicate something about God? How does it challenge you to RETHINK your understanding of God?
