  2. Read Proverbs 30:7-9. What surprises you about Agur’s prayer? 
3. What is his concern about poverty? According to Agur, what does poverty do to people? Why? 
4. What is his concern about wealth? According to Agur, what does wealth do to people? Do you think you’d have the same challenges? 
5. Read Proverbs 30:8. What is the sweet spot Agur describes? What words would you use to describe this? 
6. Agur mentions “daily bread” in Proverbs 30:8. Jesus mentioned the same thing in his instructions on the Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13). To this jewish audience, it pointed to God’s provision in the dessert for the nation of Israel as they wandered. Read Exodus 16:11-32 – what principles can you learn for our living today?
